Pokémon "30th Anniversary" 2026: Card List, Secret Rares & Classic Collection

On September 16, 2026, the Pokémon Trading Card Game celebrates its 30th anniversary with a very special expansion: Pokémon "30 Years", known internationally as 30th Celebration.

The anniversary set combines three decades of Pokémon TCG history: brand new illustrations, numerous Pikachu cards, modern Pokémon ex, extraordinary Secret Rares, and reprints of some of the most iconic cards from past generations.

For collectors, "30 Years" is likely to be one of the most exciting Pokémon sets of the year.

In this post, you'll find our continuously updated Pokémon 30 Years card list with all known cards to date.

Card list status: August 30, 2026

Note: The set has not yet been fully revealed. Cards and card numbers may be supplemented until release. We will update this overview as soon as new cards are announced.

Pokémon 30 Years: Key information about the set

• Japanese Set: Mega Expansion Pack 30th Celebration (M6a)
• International Main Set: 128 cards + Secret Rares

One of the biggest special features are the 30 different Pikachu cards. Each booster pack is guaranteed to contain one of these Pikachu variants.

Pokémon 30 Years Card List

The international main set includes 128 regular cards. Not all cards have been officially shown yet.

The following cards are currently known:

30 different Pikachu cards

Pikachu plays a special role in the 30th anniversary. There will be a total of 30 different Pikachu cards with individual illustrations.

Currently, only parts of this Pikachu series have been fully revealed. The cards in the international main set range from 023/128. Additionally, there are other Pikachu cards outside this regular Pikachu series, namely Pikachu-ex 053/128 and 054/128.

For Pikachu collectors, completing all 30 illustrations alone could become a collecting goal in itself.

Secret Rares from Pokémon 30th Anniversary

Beyond the regular 128 cards, the set contains numerous Secret Rares.

The following cards are known so far:

The Illustration Rares and the new Futuristic Rare cards of Mew and Mewtwo are likely to be among the most visually striking cards in the expansion.

Classic Collection: 30 Years of Pokémon TCG History

With the Classic Collection, Pokémon looks back on three decades of the Trading Card Game.

It includes reprints of well-known cards from different TCG eras. Pokémon has already shown the legendary Charizard from the Base Set as well as Pikachu & Zekrom-GX from Team Up.

Based on the information released so far, the following selection is expected for the 30 cards in the Classic Collection:

Important: The complete composition of these 30 cards is currently still considered preliminary. Individual classics such as Charizard and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX have already been officially confirmed.

The cards from the Classic Collection will also not simply be found in regular booster packs: For the Ultra-Premium Collections to be released later, a separate Classic Collection booster pack with three cards has been announced.

Promo Cards for Pokémon 30 Years

This means that Master Set collectors will also benefit from looking at the different products that will contain these promo cards.

Newly revealed: Kyogre, Groudon, Zacian and Zamazenta

On August 20, 2026, four more cards for the Japanese 30th Celebration M6a were revealed:

The Japanese main set with 103 cards has a different numbering than the international version with 128 cards. Therefore, we are not yet including these numbers in the German main set list.

As soon as the international versions or card numbers are known, we will add them here.

Which cards from Pokémon 30 Years are particularly exciting for collectors?

Even before the release, some cards stand out particularly.

Mew-ex and Mewtwo-ex present a completely new look with the new Futuristic Rare designs. The Illustration Rares of Lapras, Hisuian Zorua and Drifloon, on the other hand, focus more on atmospheric motifs.

Espeon and Umbreon should also be interesting for many collectors - especially in combination with their respective ex versions.

And then there's, of course, the Classic Collection: a new copy of the Base Set Charizard, Crystal Lugia, Shining Celebi, Mew-VMAX or Pikachu & Zekrom-GX directly combines nostalgia with the anniversary set.

In short: For "30 Years", there should be some cards that you don't just want to let disappear in a binder.
